Silent Auction Benefits the Boating Community

Due to the success of the Champagne Breakfast Silent Auction, the Board of Directors voted in July to support local boating related groups.  Contributions of $500 each were approved for the Blessing of the Fleet, Inc. and Wings of Angels (formerly Twin Rivers Volunteer Search and Rescue).  An additional $500 was earmarked for use in developing an Alton Pool Hazard Map.  This effort is being lead by Vice Commodore Scott Hickey.  The balance of the $2,365 revenue will be used to support Con Trios sponsored events.
